{ St. Louis,COUNTY} This has been my first year coaching lacrosse.  GO WILDCATS!!  I have to say I was not sure what I was getting myself into, but I picked the perfect book...it started with "So, you got suckered into coaching lacrosse and you have no idea what you are doing."  It was very helpfu!  As a good student would, I jumped in and read everything on lacrosse that I could get my hands on.  I experimented with different drills I learned in the books, and then taught what worked.  I have to say I am very proud of my team.  It was wonderful to watch them learn the game and grow in confidence on and off the field.  They practiced hard 3 days a week, and have done wonderfully in the games.  I am happy to announce that at the end of the season they still enjoy the game, have respect for eachother, and believe in thier team!  What more could I ask for.  What a wonderful group of girls.
